💭 finding balance?
i’m trying to meet my quota of 3 days in the office, but man.. it’s exhausting. i commute 88 miles round trip and then have to be “on” for hours. getting an electric car has definitely helped, but most days i get frustrated because what is the point? this way of living leaves little time for the people and things that matter.
i love what i do, but dislike the industry i’m in; it’s only getting more untenable. where am i supposed to go from here? if i were whitman—whose poetry continues to be a comfort—i suppose i would spend my time in the open air and on the open road.
